the premise

Nobody hands you
a hunting life
in a city.

No family tradition, no land nearby, no truck. Just hunter's education classes, a queue of YouTube breakdowns, and eight years of building a hunting life from absolute zero — traveling every time there's a hunt to make, because public land access was never going to be close.

Some of it came from other hunters willing to show a total beginner the ropes. Some of it came from figuring it out solo. This is the real, unedited record of that whole process — the misses as much as the hits, the gear that didn't work, and the slow build from a guy who'd never held a bow to someone who might actually fill a tag this season.
